This was the best $3 per kid that we spent (they did it twice) They took them for like a 10 min ride and as usual Ryan was NOT happy he had to get off.
They both went on Horse Rides. They were both a little skeptical but they people working with the Equestrian organization were wonderful. So patient and sweet! After they got on they both loved it! 
They also had a great petting zoo with baby goats, baby miniature horses, a cafe and much more. The kids had fun in there brushing them and petting them. Ryan was well... Ryan and enjoyed throwing the brushes on the ground and he was certain all the animals wanted to play with his football he got at some booth! 
So sweet. I wanted to scoop this little horse up and take her home with me. She was so sweet. Ashlyn (and myself) could not get enough of her just laying there!

AW! How fun! I actually read about the Pecan Festival in an email I have from one of the moms groups, but didn't read it until the day AFTER it happened. BOO. It looks like there was a lot of fun stuff for the kiddos to enjoy!
