Saturday's Big Boo Boo...

So Saturday night we went to a friends house for a crawfish boil and when we left about 8:30 we decided to put the kids PJ's on. We had them both in the back of the minivan with the seats down and got their PJ's on. Ashlyn crawled through over the console to get into her seat (which she has done 100 times) and slipped and fell back and cracked her head on the stroller that was in the back. She was freaking out and her head was bleeding. It was a small cut but we couldn't tell how deep it was. Because it was evening I didn't want her to go to sleep for the night. So we took her to the ER. They put a staple in her head. She freaked but was actually better then we expected. So she has a staple in her head for 8-10 days and then we have to go get it taken out. She cannot go to swimming this week which is a bummer! Hopefully they will transfer our money to the next session since I have a Dr. note.

She is doing fine. It doesn't seem to bother her at all. I keep forgetting to take a picture of the staple! :)

As we sat in the ER waiting Trever and I talked about how many time we both cracked our heads open as kids. We then decided that her being 3 1/2 and never had an ER visit wasn't too bad! HA!
