Camping during spring break!

So the kids were off school in the middle of March for Spring Break and so were the Peck’s.  They were going camping for 5 days so we decided to join them for a couple.   We had a great time.  We went to our favorite campsite at Lake Ray Roberts.    As usual the kids had a blast. 

We are so blessed because our kids get along so well.  There was no real fighting by anyone, very few meltdowns except for when they got overly tired, it’s so relaxing and fun for everyone. 

Packed up and ready to go!!!  We took Grandpa Kerr’s truck since they have a bike rack.  We bored bikes and had a great time.  Some day I might figure out how to camp without looking like we are moving out for a year. 

 

It was perfect weather… we went for bike rides…. Yeah you remember the phrase “It’s like riding a bike”  well I had not rode a bike in a long time and I crashed,  big huge bruise on my thigh to prove it.   I totally blamed the bike for it though!  

We also walked to the lake and skipped rocks (or just threw them in, one of Ryan’s favorite past times)

Can’t wait to do it again Mothers Day Weekend in Tyler!   This time The Davis’ are coming with us also.   5 kids 6 adults.  Always good when you out number the kids!
