MRI Results are in..

Well we got Trever's MRI results back. He has a bulged disk between L4 & L5 and it's 9cm which is Severe. This is what is also causing the pinched nerve that is causing him so much pain. Doc said that he has only had one other patient that was this bad. Dr. Nelson is a great guy. Trever has to go have Decompression done 3 times a week which is in North Arlington (not in our office.) Dr. Nelson was able to hook him up and get him in for free. It would have cost us about $4K otherwise. So Trever can go for free and do this unless they get to busy at that office then he will get bumped and we will have to figure something else out. He still has to go see Dr. Nelson 3 times a week also for adjustments. Doc said it would take about 6 months before he is straight and he will have to continue to go at least once a week for another 6 months after he is straight.

I know Trever is getting really depressed with all of this because he can't really do anything around the house (Yardwork, and such.) Not being able to golfing is killing him it's the way he decompresses and is his outlet to things. He is in so much pain though all he wants is to not have pain.

We are trying to get this fixed without having surgery as the risks are way greater then the positives for surgery.

We are doing everything we can to get him better as soon as possible. We miss him not being himself and love him dearly!
